It's been v. humid this weekend, had to use the aircon for the first time! We've had a very peaceful weekend so far - I accompanied Christine to the hair salon on Saturday (for 4 hours!) to help translate, went shopping, walked a bit. Today just sat around on the balcony, reading and listening to the wailing of the neighbours small boys. Just ordered pizza - I can do this now with only a couple of misheard words - why does M have to sound so much like L on the fone?

It's hot again now, electioneering is in full swing again (that means vans driving around the usually peaceful streets pumping out loud messages) and hay fever is back with a vengeance! Shouldn't last too long though.

oops, it's been a while again - sorry!
Woke up at around 3.30am (because of a little earthquake actually, since you asked) and realised how crazily light it is at that time because they don't change the clocks here.
That's about it for my observations on life, and about it for news. Except I washed the car this morning. And we're leaving Kitami next month.
