I made a final visit to Immigration today and got my visa extension stamp put in my passport - and unexpectedly it was for 3 years! So that saves a lot of future hassle.

Oh, that's great! It must be really difficult to get 3-years-visa for many people.

Another miserable weather in Sapporo, I hope we get sunny days soon.
